Eligibility, destinations and the final delivery method are confirmed at checkout.
This Shipping Policy explains how GENYX Store processes, dispatches and delivers orders placed through genyx.store. It applies exclusively to clothing, activewear, fashion accessories and related lifestyle products sold through the GENYX clothing website.
Contents
1. Purpose and Scope
This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through genyx.store and explains order processing, delivery methods, shipping charges, tracking, customs, delayed or missing parcels, and related responsibilities.
It applies only to GENYX Store's clothing, activewear, fashion accessories and related lifestyle products.
In this Policy, a Business Day means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Malta. Courier operations and delivery days may also be affected by public holidays or local practices in the destination country.
2. Order Processing
Orders are processed subject to payment authorisation, stock availability and reasonable fraud-prevention or security checks.
Processing time is separate from delivery time. An estimated delivery period does not begin until the order has been dispatched, unless the checkout page expressly states otherwise.
Orders placed after an operational cut-off time, during weekends, public holidays, promotional campaigns or high- demand product drops may begin processing on the next Business Day and may require additional time.
An order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order. Dispatch occurs only when the parcel has been handed to the appointed carrier and a dispatch confirmation has been issued.
3. Shipping Destinations
GENYX Store may deliver within Malta, across the European Union and to selected international destinations. The destinations available for a particular order are shown during checkout.
Delivery availability may change because of courier coverage, operational restrictions, customs requirements, sanctions, import rules or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may be unable to deliver to certain remote locations, post-office boxes, military addresses, parcel-forwarding services, hotels or other addresses that a courier cannot safely or reliably serve. Where necessary, we may request an alternative address before accepting or dispatching the order.
4. Shipping Methods and Charges
The delivery methods, estimated delivery periods and shipping charges available for your destination will be displayed before you submit the order.
Charges may vary according to destination, parcel weight and dimensions, courier service, order value and any applicable promotion.
The complete amount collected by GENYX Store, including the selected shipping charge, will be shown before payment. We will not add an unexpected shipping surcharge after the order is placed unless you request and approve a change that creates an additional cost, such as redelivery or a destination amendment.
5. Free Standard Shipping Over EUR 200
GENYX Store offers free standard shipping on eligible orders with a qualifying merchandise value exceeding EUR 200, subject to the destinations and conditions displayed on the website or at checkout.
- The qualifying value is normally calculated after promotional discounts have been applied and excludes shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes and any excluded products or services. • Free shipping applies to the standard delivery method selected by GENYX Store. Express, priority or premium delivery remains chargeable unless expressly included in a promotion. • Certain remote areas or international destinations may be excluded where the standard service is unavailable or commercially impracticable. • The checkout total and delivery options shown before payment determine whether a particular order qualifies. A free-shipping promotion may be amended for future orders. Any change will not affect an order that has already been accepted.
6. Delivery Estimates
Delivery periods displayed during checkout are estimates provided in good faith unless GENYX Store expressly confirms a guaranteed delivery service or date.
Unless another delivery period has been clearly agreed, an accepted consumer order will be delivered without undue delay and generally no later than thirty days after the sales contract is concluded.
Delivery estimates may be affected by customs clearance, courier disruption, public holidays, extreme weather, transport interruption, peak-season demand, security inspections, an incomplete address or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
A delivery estimate is not a guaranteed appointment. Customers should not rely on an estimated date for a wedding, holiday, trip, event or other deadline unless a guaranteed date has been expressly agreed in writing before the order is placed.
7. Pre-Orders and Limited Drops
Products marked Pre-Order are not available for immediate dispatch. The relevant product page will state an estimated release or dispatch period.
Pre-order dates are estimates unless expressly stated to be guaranteed. Production, quality-control or transportation issues may cause delay. Where a material delay occurs, we will provide an update where reasonably possible and preserve any cancellation right available under applicable law.
During limited-edition releases or high-demand drops, additional processing time may be required. Adding an item to a shopping cart does not reserve stock. Stock is allocated only after checkout is completed and the order is successfully received.
If a pre-order item and an immediately available item are purchased together, they may be dispatched separately or once all items are available. The applicable arrangement will be shown at checkout or communicated after purchase.
8. Tracking Information
Where tracking is available, tracking details will normally be sent to the email address associated with the order after dispatch.
A tracking number may take time to activate after the carrier receives the parcel. Courier updates are generated by the carrier and may occasionally be delayed, incomplete or temporarily inaccurate.
A lack of recent tracking activity does not automatically mean that a parcel has been lost. Please contact GENYX Store where tracking has not updated for an unreasonable period or the applicable delivery estimate has passed.
9. Address Accuracy and Order Amendments
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate recipient name, street and building details, apartment or unit number, locality, postcode, country, telephone number and any essential delivery instructions.
Please contact us immediately if an address correction is required. We cannot guarantee that an address, product or delivery method can be changed after processing has begun or the parcel has been dispatched.
A requested redirection may be refused by the carrier, require identity verification, delay delivery or create an additional cost. Any additional charge will be communicated for approval where practicable before the change is made.
GENYX Store is not responsible for delay or failed delivery caused by materially incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer, without prejudice to any mandatory rights.
10. Delivery Attempts and Collection
Depending on the service and destination, the carrier may make one or more delivery attempts, contact the recipient, deliver to an authorised collection point or request collection from a carrier facility.
The customer is responsible for following legitimate carrier instructions and collecting the parcel within the stated collection period.
Where a parcel is not collected or delivery repeatedly fails, it may be returned to GENYX Store. Redelivery may be subject to a reasonable additional charge where the failed delivery resulted from the customer's action, omission or incorrect information.
11. Nominated Recipients, Reception Areas and Safe-Place Instructions
A parcel may be received by a third party nominated by the customer, including a household member, concierge, reception desk or other authorised recipient.
Where the customer directly instructs the carrier to leave a parcel in a nominated safe place, with a neighbour or at a reception area, delivery may be treated as completed when the carrier follows that instruction, to the extent permitted by law.
Customers should not authorise unattended delivery where the location is insecure or exposed. GENYX Store is not responsible for loss occurring after a parcel has been left in accordance with a customer's valid and specific delivery instruction, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
12. Signature, Identification and Delivery Codes
Certain orders may require a signature, one-time delivery code, proof of identity or another verification measure.
Enhanced verification may be applied because of the order value, destination, fraud-prevention requirements, courier policy or the selected service. The person accepting delivery may be asked to provide information matching the order or delivery details.
13. Split Shipments
An order containing multiple products may be delivered in separate parcels where products are dispatched from different locations, become available at different times, include a pre-order item or are subject to packaging or courier restrictions.
Separate parcels may have different tracking numbers and arrive on different dates. The customer will not be charged an additional shipping fee solely because GENYX Store chooses to divide an order.
14. Delayed Delivery
Where a shipment is delayed, GENYX Store will take reasonable steps to obtain information from the carrier and assist the customer.
If an order is not delivered within the agreed period or, where no period was agreed, within the legally applicable period, the customer may ask us to deliver within an additional reasonable period.
If delivery is still not completed within that additional period, the customer may be entitled to terminate the affected contract and receive the refund required by law. An additional period may not be required where GENYX Store refuses to deliver or where a delivery date was expressly agreed as essential before purchase.
15. Missing or Lost Parcels
A parcel is not automatically considered lost because tracking has paused, delivery is later than estimated, customs clearance is continuing or a carrier investigation remains open.
Where tracking indicates delivery but the parcel cannot be located, please promptly:
1. confirm that the delivery address on the order is correct;
2. check any safe place, entrance, mailbox or parcel area around the premises;
3. ask household members, neighbours, reception staff or building management;
4. review any delivery photograph, message or carrier notice; and
5. contact GENYX Store with the order and tracking details.
We may ask the carrier to investigate and may request a reasonable non-receipt declaration or supporting information. A delivery scan may form part of the evidence but does not automatically remove the customer's right to dispute non- receipt.
Where a carrier appointed by GENYX Store confirms that a parcel was lost before delivery, GENYX Store will provide the legally appropriate remedy, which may include replacement or refund.
16. Damaged, Opened or Tampered Parcels
Please inspect the parcel as soon as reasonably possible. Where packaging appears materially damaged, opened or tampered with, photograph the parcel before opening where practicable, retain the packaging and labels, photograph the affected products and contact GENYX Store promptly.
We may request reasonable evidence to support a carrier claim or product investigation. Failure to report visible damage immediately does not automatically remove any statutory right relating to damaged, faulty or non-conforming goods.
17. Customs, Import Duties and International Taxes
International orders may be subject to import duties, customs charges, local VAT or sales tax, brokerage fees, clearance charges or carrier administration fees.
Where checkout expressly states that duties and taxes are included, the order will be shipped according to that arrangement. Where they are not expressly included, the recipient may be required to pay the relevant destination charges before delivery.
GENYX Store does not control customs authorities and cannot guarantee the time required for clearance. Customers are responsible for checking any destination-specific import restrictions before ordering.
Customs declarations will be completed accurately. GENYX Store will not declare a false value, describe a commercial order as a gift, misstate the contents or provide misleading customs documentation.
18. Refused, Uncollected and Returned-to-Sender Parcels
A parcel may be returned where delivery is refused, collection is not completed, the address is incorrect or incomplete, the recipient cannot be identified, customs requirements are not completed or destination charges remain unpaid.
After the parcel is received and inspected, GENYX Store may arrange redelivery, request payment of reasonable redelivery costs or process cancellation and any refund due under applicable law and the Returns and Refunds Policy.
To the extent permitted by law, reasonable costs directly caused by a customer's refusal, non-collection, inaccurate address or failure to complete required import procedures may be deducted from a voluntary refund. No deduction will be made where prohibited by mandatory consumer law.
19. Delivery Risk
Where GENYX Store selects and appoints the carrier, responsibility for loss or damage remains with GENYX Store until the customer, or a third party nominated by the customer other than the carrier, obtains physical possession of the products.
Where the customer independently appoints a carrier that was not offered by GENYX Store, risk may pass when the products are handed to that carrier, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
20. Changes or Cancellation Before Dispatch
Please contact GENYX Store as soon as possible if you wish to change or cancel an order. We will attempt to assist but cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or stopped once processing has begun.
After dispatch, an order usually cannot be cancelled through the carrier. The customer may instead exercise any applicable statutory withdrawal or return right after receiving the products.
21. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
GENYX Store is not responsible for delay caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including extreme weather, natural disaster, war, civil disturbance, industrial action, public-health restrictions, governmental action, customs or border disruption, transport interruption, port or airport closure, widespread telecommunications failure or serious courier-network disruption.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effects of such an event and fulfil affected orders as soon as reasonably possible. This clause does not remove any mandatory right to terminate an order or receive a refund where delivery cannot be completed within the applicable period.
22. Customer Service and Delivery Complaints
Questions or complaints concerning processing, delivery, tracking, a delayed parcel or a missing or damaged shipment may be submitted through the official customer-service channel or Contact page displayed on genyx.store.
To help us investigate efficiently, please provide your full name, order number, delivery postcode, tracking number where available, a clear description of the issue and any relevant photographs or carrier correspondence.
23. Changes to This Shipping Policy
GENYX Store may update this Shipping Policy to reflect changes in delivery services, courier arrangements, destinations, operational procedures, customs practices or applicable law.
The latest version will be published on genyx.store with an updated revision date. A change will not retrospectively alter the shipping conditions applicable to an order already accepted, unless required by law or expressly agreed with the customer.
